A Heartfelt Thank You

Conceiving a child through rape is one of the most difficult issues, in the abortion debate.  It divides people and raises the temperature of any exchange of views.  Many people see it as the dividing line in the whole issue and cannot accept that in these most difficult of circumstances, that the baby must live.

I believe that we need to keep listening to those women who have been through a rape and chosen to keep their child to hear properly the facts of these tragic circumstances; violence + sex+ pregnancy can lead to healing and life.  Let’s spread the message that even though we abhor the violence of the act, the conceived child must not be punished for the crimes of his/her father.
