how you can help
We are always in need of practical help with the running of the Initiative and would welcome anybody who can offer their time to do some practical jobs and/or driving skills to pick up donations.
If you have a group eg. U.C.M. or Justice & Peace and would like a speaker we can provide one by arrangement.
We are always looking for good quality, second hand equipment especially buggies, prams and cots. For more information on donating items, see https://cardinalwinningprolifeinitiative.wordpress.com/donate-items/
Fund raising is always welcome as it not only brings in much needed funds but raises awareness of the Initiative to people who might not have heard of us. We can send out a pack detailing ways to fund raise if you need ideas or pointers in how to get started.
how do i go about donating baby clothes?
Clare, thanks for your question, apologies for the late reply. Re donation, it depends where you are, what you want to donate, etc. The best course of action would be to phone us on 0141 433 2680 and we can make arrangements.
Thank you for thinking of us and God bless.
Hi
I spoke at length a week or so ago to Andrea, which was lovely, and she sent me posters and cards which my parish priest is looking at to see how best we can display them. I also said I’d like to mention the website in my next newspaper article which is due to be published next Friday in the Scottish Catholic Observer.
My article is about teenage pregnancies in Scotland, and makes reference to St. Gerard Majella. I thought you may like to see the article which, in fact, is a whole page, and it will have your web address as a link.
Thinking of you all, and of the good work you all do. Well done and God Bless.

Where can I give baby equipment/clothes in Renfrewshire area?
Jackie
Our only base for the Initiative is here in Govanhill and we accept any baby equipment/clothes that are in good condition. I don’t know of any other prolife organisations in Renfrewshire. We are open Monday to Friday 9.30am til 5pm.
Would knitted baby clothes be useful for you? If so, I can knit items up to about 2 years and also baby blankets, shawls. I have a stash of baby yarn I need to use! It might be a couple of months, but please let me know if there is anything I can do.
Thanks, that would be lovely.
I have in the past given to my Parish Priest knitted items for newborn babies but he has now gone to Rome so is it still acceptable for me to give his to the Society. I would deliver it if it is acceptable I could deliver to Albert Road..
Yes, that would be fantastic if you could bring it along to the centre. We’re open Monday to Friday 9.30 to 4.30pm.
How do I fundraise for this charity?
Hi Rosemary We would love it if you were able to do some fundraising for us. It’s probably a bit difficult just now due to the lockdown. However if you get back in touch once everything is back to normal we can help you with some ideas.
God bless
