Because Who Is Perfect?
Thoughtful video which was made as a creative response to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3rd by the Swiss charity Pro Infirmis.
It challenges the viewer to look up close at disabiltiy and ask “Who Is Perfect?”. Our society thinks it helps people with disabilities to live a life of access, equality and freedom as witnessed in the promotion of the Paralympics Games last year. But how can this be true when we discriminate against babies diagnosed with a disability before birth by recommending death through abortion because their lives are “incompatible with life”? A well used euphemism these days.
This video is a breath of fresh air.!
