I Just Knew I Couldn’t Abort

“I didn’t know how I was going to do it. But I just knew that I couldn’t abort. I had to do my best, and I was determined to do whatever it took.”

This spirited quote comes from the internationally successful Justin Biebers’ mum, Pattie Mallette who has been giving interviews recently to promote her autobiography, “No Where But Up”.

Regular readers of this blog will Know we featured the very same Justin on the blog a few months ago because he made headlines for speaking out against abortion in one interview even suggesting it wasn’t the answer in cases of rape!  You can imagine the publicity this generated and we congratulated him because in this world of international pop celebrity that he inhabits popstars do not speak up for the unborn child.

Now it seems we have a context to put his comments in because his mother was under pressure to abort the child she was carrying and despite having every reason to continue on the destructive life she had been living  she took the harder road and gave birth to her precious son who has gone on to such success as a popstar.  The love that is plain to see between Justin and his mum is a rainbow in the darkness of legal abortion and we are grateful that there are celebrities who speak out and risk the wrath of the pro abortion movement.
