To Save The Life of the Mother?

Here is another great story reported on Life site news about a mother standing up to health professionals and refusing an abortion when she was found to have a lung tumour!  Her story mum-beats-lung-tumour-after-refusing-to-sacrifice-her-baby-to-save-her-own is one which we hear more and more because the ability to treat a mother while pregnant is much more of a possibility now than it was say thirty years ago.  Regarding the baby as a patient to be valued aswell as the mother is the road we must go down now instead of regarding the mother as having the only right to life.  This is how medicine will advance to be able to treat and cure life threatening illnesses such as cancer and tumours.
