Prayerfully Protesting

Forty Days for Life, the prolife campaign to prayerfully protest outside abortion clinics is hugely successful in the U.S.  Go to any prolife website such as and you can read the amazing testemonies of the effects these peaceful, prayerful protests can have on the women going into the abortion clinics aswell as the workers.

Abby Johnston, the ex-Plannned Parenthood Director writes eloquently in her book “Unplanned” about the effect the protestors had on her journey to becoming prolife and realising that abortion wasn’t helping women.

Here in the U.K. our Forty Days for Life operates on a much smaller scale but we seem to be annoying the opposition. Robert Colquhoun and Ann Freudi (of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service) debated on the Today programme 9705889.stm recently about the campaign.  For women who are going to the abortion clinic it is vital to know right up to the last minute that she has a choice and that she is carrying a child.  This is what the peaceful protests seek to do.
