St Lucy’s Fun Day

08Jun10

Sr Andrea and her mum went to St Lucy’s (Abronhill, Cumbernauld) Family Fun Day last Saturday. As you can see from the photo, they had a whole load of goodies to sell. 5th june 027

The PLI’s stall made a handsome £100 and all of St Lucy’s stalls combined made over £1000 … a chunk of which is going to the Initiative too. As if that wasn’t good enough, Sr Andrea had a clean sweep of the bric-a-brac stall at the end of the day for our shop!

The parishioners of St Lucy’s are great friend of ours (pictured here are John and Cathy Mclaughlin). 5th june 030

They’re excellent people doing wonderful work. 5th june 033 It’s Billy from St Lucy’s who organises the Pro-Life Vigils we attend periodically, and one of them is coming up this Friday if you can manage (start 6pm through to 9am on Saturday).

The sun shone very brightly, which was great news for the many kids who spent the day beating the goalie, running 3 legged races, egg and spoon races and getting up to all sorts of shenanigans with hoolahoops!!
