A Dear Friend

19Jun13

With great sadness we heard the news that a dear friend of the C.W.P.L.I., died today (19.6.13).  Mary Gallagher died peacefully after a short illness, in the Royal Victoria Hospital surrounded by her family. We are remembering Mary in our prayers.  May She Rest In Peace.

It is fantastic to see how the Irish prolifers have organised themselves and gathered support to try and show the politicians the strength of opposition to the current legislation proposed to legalise abortion in Ireland.  Let’s continue to pray that this attempt will fail and unborn children and their mothers will be safe.

by Stacey Trasancos “Mommy, why do we pray?” That seems like an easy question to answer, but I wanted to give her something to hang on to later in life. Satan tempts us not to pray. Someday she may feel she doesn’t have time to pray, she may be too hurt, angry, or afraid to […]

With the whole important business of pregnancy, childbirth and disability prayer is vital especially for those in the medical profession who can be without any faith or openess to the worth of a child with a disabiltiy.  This story can renew our belief in the power of prayer and intercession and help us to realise […]

Prayer

17Apr13

Some thoughts on that fantastic way to speak to God – prayer!  When we read stories like the one coming out of America about the doctor, Dr Gosnell, who is on trial for peforming late abortions and killing new borns, then we realise that prayer is our main form of attack for these horrendous sins that go on.
